Flyering at the Green Street T-Stop
Friday, March 30, 5-6:30pm
In preparation for the MBTA protest on April 4, we will be handing
out flyers at the Green Street T-stop. You can just show up and
help
flyer. We will have flyers. If you wish to contribute to
the printing
of flyers, please go to occupyjp/The People's Printing Press and print
out as many flyers as you like.

MBTA Action
Wednesday,April 4, 3PM and 5PM
Occupy JP will participate, along with many other groups, in a protest
against fare hikes, service cuts, and layoffs at the MBTA. The
protest
will meet at the Statehouse at 3pm to protest the MBTA proposals.
A
rally will follow at 5pm. Come to one or both!

Potluck
dinner and party
Saturday, April 14
Occupy JP will be hosting a potluck dinner and party at Aria's house in
Jamaica Plain. More details later.

Tax Day Rally and March
Tuesday, April 17, 5:30PM, Dewey Square (South
Station)
Occupy JP will participate, along with many other groups, in a protest
against the unfairness of the current tax regime, where people such as
Mitt Romney pay at rates far lower than those earning far less, and
Warren Buffet's now-famous secretary pays at a higher rate than Warren
Buffet. The Rally and March will begin at 5:30pm at Dewey Square
(South Station) and the march will begin at 6pm and proceed through the
city streets, pass by several notorious corporate tax dodgers, and end
at the bandstand in the Commons.
Things to bring: yourself (most important), signs, noise-making
stuff (pots, pans, kazoos, whatever) |
